About Brent

Brent Fuchs grew up exploring the rugged mountains of Utah, where his passion for the outdoors flourished through hunting and adventure. His early jobs included roles as a snowmobile guide, river guide, and ski patrol, eventually leading him to Southern Utah, where he thrived as a desert survival guide. After a transformative two-year mission in Brazil for his church, Brent sought to challenge himself further by joining the military.

His military journey began with a role in the Air Force Guard as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, including a combat deployment to Iraq from 2008 to 2009, where he was responsible for neutralizing and safely disposing of explosive threats.

This experience honed his skills in high-pressure environments and laid the groundwork for his future in the Army. Brent transitioned to the Army as a 25Q, before successfully completing the rigorous Special Forces Selection and Qualification Course. Earning the prestigious Green Beret, Brent joined the elite 5th Special Forces Group, known for its critical role in U.S. military operations and its focus on unconventional warfare. His service included combat deployments to Afghanistan (2014-2015), Lebanon (2016), and three deployments to Syria (2017, 2018, 2020), where he played a pivotal role in advising and assisting local forces, significantly contributing to mission success in volatile regions.

Throughout his military career, Brent has faced and overcome significant challenges, including multiple injuries from training scenarios and combat engagements. These injuries, including broken bones, failed surgeries, damaged core muscles from blast overpressure, and multiple traumatic brain injuries, tested his physical and mental resilience. Each time, Brent rebuilt himself, drawing on a deep commitment to a positive mindset and the importance of resilience. These experiences have shaped his approach to life and his dedication to helping others develop the same strengths.

Now, Brent works as a consultant and trainer, specializing in the integration of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams with elite Special Operations Forces. He is currently pursuing his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is passionate about trauma-informed mental health practices, specifically designed to support veterans, first responders, and high-performance professionals.

Brent is dedicated to helping others build resilience, lead with integrity, and heal with purpose. Above all, he is a husband, father, and man of faith, committed to serving others through grit, growth, and grace.
